Lance Hames Photography is now proud to present our newest product, Custom Real Estate Flyers! After several requests for this product we designed a flyer that we believe is not only perfectly suited for your real estate needs but is aesthetically pleasing as well. This optional product lists the listing address, cost of the listing, MLS number, important features, a descriptive paragraph of the listing, and Realtor contact information all at the price of $20.

If you are interest in having a flyer designed for your listing we just ask for a few pieces of information from you including:
- Seven photos of the property including an exterior still
- Realtor contact information including a photo
- A paragraph describing the listing

These last couple of months have been so amazing, specifically because of the opportunities that have been placed in front of the company and I. It is so inspirational just knowing that I have someone Upstairs behind me. Our load of work has been steadily increasing and best of all the number of relationships we are building within various agencies and offices has as well. We have come so far, and are so excited about where we are going.

It has also been a huge time of growth for me as in individual; there have been highs and lows, but in the end I would never change the lessons learned in my personal life as well as in business. I have also struggled and battled with my eating habits, struggling to maintain a healthy diet under unusually high amounts of stress, but I think I have them close to conquered. I have lost 15 pounds in the last two weeks, and am feeling healthier than ever! I cant help but notice that the changes in my diet and exercise are positively influencing my work and attitude.

People often ask, “Why Professional Photography?” It is a valid question. The extra level that professional photographs bring properties to is undeniable. We have all seen the average level of photographs on the MLS® and REALTOR.com®.

Problem- “My client is not willing to pay for professional photography, and I am having to front the money my self. It is not cheap, what benefits will it give my listings?”
Our Solution- We would never call ourselves ‘cheap’, but definitely not ‘expensive’. We have an affordable package for every listing and budget. Our photographs add a sense of professionalism to a listing; they show off the home as it really is. With 92% of real estate viewing done online, you have less than two seconds of the prospects time with the front picture to decide whether they click on the listing and investigate further, or say to themselves “next”. We are all about creating interest from the first glance, and our photographs do it wonderfully. Problem- “I bought a nice camera, but I just cannot seem to get the lighting right. The windows are super bright and blown out, yet the rest of the room is way too dark. What in the word am I doing wrong?”
Our Solution- It is not possible to capture the entire dynamic range of photograph at once as our eye sees it. At Lance Hames Photography we use a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range). We take 9 exposures of each scene, exposing properly for the brightest windows and lights, the deepest shadows, and everywhere in between. Then we take all of those images back to the computer and stitch them all together into one composite image that is much closer to what our eye sees.

Problem- “I cannot seem to get all of the important features of a room into the picture, and bathrooms and smaller bedrooms, they’re almost not even worth taking.”
Our Solution- We have invested in what are called Ultra-Wide Angle Lenses. What these lenses enable us to do is have a very, very high viewing angle of the areas; showing off the entire bathroom, bedrooms, and every other room as they should be portrayed.

Problem- “The color in my pictures never seems to be accurate. The photos either come out too yellow, or have a tint of green or pink.”
Our Solution- Without the proper camera or knowledge, what is known as ‘white-balance’ is a huge issue. In most consumer cameras there is Auto-White Balance, and it gets pretty close, most of the time, but cannot be perfect; it is not human. With our training and equipment we can assure you that every white will be true white, and every other color accurately conveyed.

Problem- “All of my pictures look really good, they are just kind of blurry.”
Our Solution- This is a big limitation with typical camera, in typical hands. These problems could be stemming from either lens sharpness, shutter speed, or noise handling. At Lance Hames Photography, being a professional company we have taken the leap into the absolute top of the line lenses, camera bodies, tripods, and computer software. You will not find a more sharp, crisp, and clear photo around.

Due to popular demand, we have made the investment in a SupraKey! We feel that the much added ease to those Realtors using the Supra iBoxes was something we could just not turn down! All we need to take photographs of any home on an iBox is your CBS code and you can consider it done!

After about seven hours of shooting and another four hours of editing, I have finished and the photos turned out beautifully! My favorite one is the night shot of 1341 Sunset Ridge. The editing did have its difficulties, however. The night shot is a compilation of 18 different shots taken at varying exposures to establish a balance; otherwise the windows would be harsh against the black on the exterior. It takes a tedious stitching process once I bring my photos back to the computer as I do this with every shot I take; though typically I only need about 9 exposures of each scene. The best part of this entire shoot? The realtor was ecstatic! “I can guarantee you one thing, you are our photographer!”

That is the best part of my job, seeing my work bring joy to others; there is just no feeling like it.
